Liverpool have been performing brilliantly under Jurgen Klopp this season and could finally end their 29-year wait for the Premier League title this season.

The Reds are currently at the top of the Premier League table, one point clear of their closest rivals Manchester City. The Merseysiders have lost just one league game all season and also boast the best defensive record in the division. They conceded just 15 goals in 27 league games this season.

However, they have struggled a bit in the last few games and managed to win just one out of their last five games in all competitions. They’ve lacked confidence during those games and have struggled to break opposition defences down.

Nevertheless, their destiny remains in their own hands and the Reds could clinch their first title in the Premier League era if they manage to rediscover their form of the opening few months of the season.

The heart of the matter
